Why Pawlo exists

Pawlo started for an embarrassingly specific reason: we kept arguing about whether the dog had been fed. He had gotten very good at pretending he hadn't been. Two breakfasts, most days.

Every "solution" failed us. The group chat scrolls away. The whiteboard lies. Reminder apps fire whether or not anyone actually did the thing. What we needed was a shared record — what's done, what's next, and who did it.

So that's what Pawlo is: one checklist for your whole household. Feeding, walks, meds — every check-off syncs instantly to everyone's phone with a name and a time on it. It warns before a second dose, builds a streak your household protects together, and keeps a history you can actually look back at.

What Pawlo does

The same list you'll find on the App Store listing, because the app and this site should always say the same thing:

  • One shared list — everyone sees the same tasks, live
  • Attribution on every task — who did what, and when
  • Double-dose protection — a warning before a second med gets given
  • Smart reminders — per-task times that fit your real routine
  • Household streaks — build the care habit together
  • Home screen widgets — progress, next task, and streak at a glance
  • Care history — look back at any day, per pet and per person
  • Multiple pets — dogs, cats, and everything else, each with their own plan

Built for real households — partners, families, roommates, pet sitters. Invite them in seconds with a link; everyone marks tasks from their own phone.

Free, and privacy first

Pawlo is free. No trial, no subscription, no locked features — unlimited pets, unlimited household members, widgets, streaks, and full care history, for everyone. There are no ads and we don't sell data. Your household's data stays yours. See the privacy policy for the details.

Who makes it

Pawlo is an independent, two-developer project led by Nick Won, based in California. The guides on the blog are written from the same household-coordination angle the app was built for; anything health-related links to veterinary sources and is not a substitute for your vet.
